Learning Model
The curriculum of BCCM, Bhubaneswar lays emphasis on participatory learning – combining case studies, projects, games & outdoor sessions for the overall development of the students. Research Projects/Dissertation work and Summer Project work are an essential part of the curriculum, with the aim to acquaint the students with practical knowledge, with the help of on-job training, so that not only do the students have a sound theoretical background but also have relevant experience in the application of theory to practical situations.
Foundation Course
Two-month foundation course is being extended to non-commerce students. It includes subjects like mathematics, statistics, and general economics, etc.
Faculty lectures, student presentations, case study discussions, news analysis, and regular student evaluation are used to ensure that students acquire the requisite knowledge of the subjects.

Internship programs and On Job Training
As a part of the Summer Internship Program, students undertake an 8-week internship at any organization/company after the completion of the 3rd trimester. This enables the students to relate the theory with actual industry practice, thereby gaining more in-depth knowledge of the subject.
As part of the curriculum, students visit different industries every year. These industrial visits help them to gain practical experience and exposure. They get an opportunity to meet and interact with experienced industry professionals, on-the-job workforce and gain insights about the various aspects of business operations.

Seminars & Conferences
Throughout the year, the students participate in various face-to-face interactions with leading professionals through seminars and guest lectures. The Institute has blended its unique Saturday lecture into its curriculum where eminent personalities from different walks of life, not only from the corporate world but also from social, cultural, and other areas, share their experience with the future managers/leaders and facilitate their overall development.
All students are made to become members of different student clubs. These clubs conduct different activities like management festivals, cultural programs, sports, CSR programs, festival celebrations, campus placement, and alumni relations. Students are responsible for planning, organizing, and executing these activities independently under the guidance of faculty members.
BCCM also encourages students to participate in management festivals, contests, seminars, and conferences organized by other business schools and professional bodies.

Analytics & Computer Skills Training
BCCM offers a Certification Program in Business Data Analytics. Data Analytics helps in exploring big data in meaningful ways and helps businesses to take decisions/actions for the problems they face with the aim of enhancing productivity and profitability.
BCCM students are provided computer education in Tally, MS Office, and other basics of computer.
Special stress is given to soft skill development, and credit papers like Managerial Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Team Building/Group Dynamics, Personality Development, Corporate Etiquettes, etc. are included in each trimester. Besides these, spoken English classes are also conducted through a modern language lab to develop the communication skills of each student.

Stress Management Through Yoga
The institute organizes various activities for the healthcare of its staff and students. Compulsory training is given in areas like the Art of Living, military-type training, stress management through yoga and pranayama so that the students are physically and mentally prepared to face the practical world.
The Institute has a unique system wherein the facilities act as mentors to the future business leaders. A Group of students are attached to selected faculty members who act as a mentor to their group. They offer assistance, support and guidance to their group of students facilitating in realization of their career objectives.

Buddy Concept
PGP-2 students are associated with PGP-1 students from the day of joining and act as their buddy. A buddy helps a junior student to acclimatize to the college environment and also helps to work with projects and assignments given by faculty members.
